Nancy Massett:
I’m 53 and I love working with animals. I moved to NH in July 2001 from Manchester, CT.

I attended grooming school at Nash Academy for animal Arts in Lexington, KY and worked as a groomer in CT at DJ’s Dog Grooming and as a Veterinary technician at Town & Country Veterinary Hospital before moving to NH.

I worked at Hampton Veterinary Hospital as both a Veterinary technician and groomer. I also worked at Pet Grooming by Linda in North Hampton, NH and then went on to open "Seaside Grooming" with Kate (Pawcassos’s & Seaside Grooming). I also owned and operated "M the Dog Spa" in the Depot Square in Hampton, NH.

I am a licensed Cosmetologist with the state of NH and a member of the National Dog Groomers Association of America and enjoy going to continuing education classes and various shows to learn new tricks/techniques and just to see what’s new out there.

I went to mobile grooming almost 3 years ago and I really enjoy it. Being out and about (vs behind a wall all day) results in less stress for both the pet and myself. Most importantly, it's much easier for everyone involved.

I served in the United States Army & Army National Guard as a combat medical specialist. I spent 10 years as a volunteer firefighter with the Manchester 8th Utilities District Volunteer Fire Department in CT.

I enjoy everything related with all types of animals as well as outdoor activities (in warm & cool weather). I'm not a big fan of thewinter!

We are currently training to become a Skin Care Certified Salon and an OSHA Approved Facility.
